I can not fault the care, support and professionalism of Mr Turton. He explained everything fully and clearly stated exactly what both procedures entailed. I am very pleased with the results of my surgery and the time scale involved - my scars are minimal and have healed well. I would highly recommend Mr Turton and am very grateful he was my surgeon

I visited Mr Turton re breast augmentation. I expressed that I wanted a natural result to the surgery and I wanted to be proportionate with my frame. We discussed many different options in implant styles. Mr Turton has a very different approach to other surgeons/companies in that he works out personal dimensions of the breast and decides the implant size best for the patient. Whereas, some surgeons let you pick what size you want without working out dimensions with the detrimental affect of looking out of proportion. I think the difference in his approach could be explained because I was waiting to pick a size, which is not how he works. I had heard from friends who had previously had the surgery at other places that you can pick which size you want but Mr Turton does work differently. I think it can be daunting that you do not know what size you are having until just before the surgery, but this is because Mr Turton is the expert and works it out for you. I think I would have liked to have known a little earlier if I was to re-do the experience just for my own peace of mind. I am happy with my size and they are natural and people have commented even at this early stage on their natural appearance. If you were to visit Mr Turton and want a considerable sizing change that is not proportionate with your dimensions, I would express this to him initially. I would recommend a second consultation with him to discuss sizing before the operation. Otherwise, you would find out the implant size on the day of surgery. I had two consultations and decided to opt for the 310g implants moderate profile implants. The size I originally asked for was achieved. Mr Turton is the best person to decide whether you have your implant placed over or under the muscle and I was content with the advice he offered me and the way he explained the procedure. When the original swelling occurs after the operation, the breasts look very large but the welling will go down. In my case this occurred faster in one breast than the other but I was reassured that this was normal. Initially, I was disappointed when the swelling went down because my breasts did look small in comparison. However, now they have settled, I know that Mr Turton has achieved the breasts I asked for. If I had asked for larger boobs, I am sure he would have obliged but I took his expert opinion on board and I ma extremely happy with my results. Mr Turton is supported by Nurse specialising in this area who provides care throughout and you can contact her on her mobile anytime if have any questions. The contact time you have with Mr Turton is far less than with the Nurse. I saw Mr Turton twice before the operation and then once on the day pre the surgery for marking up. I did not see him after the surgery (which I presumed I would) but instead I saw the Nurse who was the main source of care. I then saw Mr Turton two weeks post surgery for a check up and then I will see him again in eight weeks time. Mr Turton is incredibly professional and a very nice man to talk to. It is obvious he listens to what you want. Originally, he had advised me to have high volume implants but I wanted moderate to which we worked together to reach the solution. It is important to listen to his advice because he is the expert. One-week post op, I had a slight swelling in one breast and I panicked. To which, the Nurse saw me straight away, there was no waiting in line or booking appointments highlighting the level of care offered. Mr Turton’s team offered me security and peace of mind and the situation was treated appropriately. Mr Turton has a secretary who you make first contact with who is very professional and friendly. It is obvious that the clinic is very busy as she does take some time to reply, but when she does reply her responses are detailed and helpful. I did not receive the price of the surgery until three weeks before surgery (to which the full amount has to be paid one week in advance of your surgery date). I do think this information should have been offered sooner as people do have to put provisions in place. I do however appreciate that this was delayed by the hospital as opposed to Mr Turton’s staff. The hospital (Nuffield, Leeds) is more like a hotel which enabled me to feel totally relaxed. The staff were not only professional but incredible friendly and I actually enjoyed my time there. The hospital is beyond clean and I felt as if I were in safe and professional hands. Overall, I have enjoyed my experience with Mr Turton and I would recommend him and his team. Together, we have achieved the results I wanted and I thank him for that.

Mr Turton, was excellent. I was referred to Mr Turton because I had to have a medical procedure done that could only be performed at St James Hospital Leeds, due to other medical complications that I have. Mr Turton worked really well alongside the haemophilia team that I required to enable the safety of surgery. He was caring, very professional, listened to me and reassured me. I have had private treatment in the past and I can honestly say that Mr Turton treated me as well as if I had been paying privately.

I went to see Mr Turton regarding a complex reconstruction revision. I did my research & was hugely impressed by the amount of information available about Philip Turton & his specialist fields & my decision was made. It was not an easy decision as I suffer with 'White Coat Syndrome ' & find it very traumatic to even enter a hospital! I also felt that little could be done to correct the initial reconstruction as one implant had dropped considerably to the point that wearing a bra or tight fitting clothes was impossible coupled with the fact that I had left it for seven years. From my first appointment with Mr Turton I felt at ease & able to fully explain the problems with the implant & what I hoped to achieve. Mr Turton completely understood & went into great detail explaining the procedure & what could be expected. I had no hesitation in deciding to proceed. The surgery went very smoothly, I made a very good recovery & the results are fantastic, after seven years I now have the shape & symmetry that I felt could not have been achieved. I cannot express how grateful I am to Mr Turton for his levels if skill and professionalism. I have a new found confidence & my only regret is that I did make the appointment years ago.
